Welcome! Peter's Hill is a blog devoted to St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley, an Episcopal parish near Malvern, PA. St. Peter's has existed as a parish since 1700, first as a mission church of St. David's, later and at present as an independent entity. It's located on a sixteen-acre nature preserve on the top of the highest ground in the Great Valley, with a church building dating from the early 1800s (what we call "the Old Church"), a large building completed in 2005 that encompasses a beautiful worship space, several classrooms, and (soon, we hope) a commercial kitches (we call this building "the Barn" because it's built in the style of a Welsh bank barn), and a preschool with three programs for children aged 2 1/2 to pre-kindergarten, located in the same building as the parish office.
You can learn more about St. Peter's at its website, and about St. Peter's Preschool at the pages devoted to it.
This blog is a place for news and goings-on, an open conversation about what we do and what we want to do at St. Peter's. We hope you'll stick around.
